Open Postdoc or PhD candidate position in molecular Bioinformatics

The research group of Prof. Dr. Stephan Weidinger at the Department of Dermatology and Allergology of the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) in Kiel is looking for a highly motivated PhD student or Postdoc in the field of molecular bioinformatics.

The group investigates inherited and lifestyle factors involved in common skin diseases in diverse populations, with the aim of modeling and predicting disease manifestation and progression, and they try to identify biomarkers and classifiers in order to (re)define disease subtypes. For this purpose, they generate and explore diverse omics-data sets (genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, microbiomics).
